What is Intuitive Body Work?
Part of your post-partum healing is sure to include some body work. Tired, achy shoulders, poor sleep, hormones dancing a dance & high- flying emotions can all be part of the picture as you find your feet into motherhood. It’s important at this time that you be able to set aside some time for self-care ~ the nurturer needing to nurture herself. Bodywork, and especially intuitive work can be so supportive at this time to help bring your physical & emotional bodies back into balance.
Working with intuitive perception, addressing and meeting your needs whether they are physical, emotional, mental or energetic, I use a combination of modalities & tools gleaned from over 20 years as a massage therapist. I work partly on the body, partly in the energy field, wherever I feel called to work. I switch off my conscious mind, “tune in” and allow myself to be guided by your greatest need. This is about your body & energy, communing with mine, so that I can work on the deepest level to release tension, stress, imbalance, energy blocks & memories held within the tissue, from long forgotten experiences and trauma.
